Design and Technology

Our Design and Technology curriculum aims to inspire pupils to be creative, practical thinkers who understand the design process: design, make and evaluate. Pupils are encouraged to take risks, develop ideas, and learn from testing and refining their work. We want children to become reflective learners who can evaluate their own work and that of others.

Through engaging, hands-on experiences, pupils develop an understanding of how design and technology impacts everyday life. We aim to equip them with the skills and confidence to become resourceful and imaginative problem-solvers.

Our curriculum meets the requirements of the National Curriculum for KS1 and provides a strong foundation for future learning.
